Why Video Game Production

Join a growing and exciting industry

The video game industry is growing at a pace that is on track to be a $40 billion industry this year - that's more than annual box office receipts in the US!

With more than 10,000 people employed in the video game industry, Southern California is the primary location for the majority of video game companies in the US. And unlike other creative fields like film and television, there aren't thousands of new candidates to meet the growing demand that each year brings. As a result, video game production and design is a highly desirable field for students to consider.

While few students have had the opportunity to study game design at the graduate level, National University's program is among the very first to offer studies in game production.
